B.F.A. Furniture Design From Savannah College of Art and DesignHello, I'm Ji Heon Han, a furniture designer passionate about creating thoughtful, functional, and meaningful pieces that enrich everyday life.
I earned my B.F.A. in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I developed a strong foundation in furniture design, prototyping, upholstery, and fabrication. My work is driven by a simple belief: great design should balance beauty, comfort, and purpose.
My experience spans furniture design, product development, visual merchandising, and 3D visualization. Through these experiences, I have strengthened my skills in Rhino, SolidWorks, Shapr3D, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite while gaining hands-on knowledge of materials, construction methods, and manufacturing processes.
I am particularly drawn to furniture that creates meaningful experiences for people. Whether designing a children's furniture collection, developing custom pieces, or creating realistic renderings, I enjoy transforming ideas into tangible products that improve the way people live, work, and interact with their spaces.
My design philosophy centers on simplicity, functionality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful details. I am always eager to learn, collaborate, and continue growing as a designer while contributing to products that combine creativity with practical solutions.
As a child, I was always rearranging furniture and imagining new ways a space could feel and function. That curiosity eventually led me from studying pharmacy to pursuing a career in furniture design. Today, I continue to explore how thoughtful design can bring comfort, joy, and meaningful experiences into everyday life.
